An article on TRAVERSE was published in the Dengeki Shōnen (電撃少年) magazine's July 1996 issue (nro 7). The information in the short article is rudimentary and does not go into any detail into the game's content or quests. In addition, on page 223 a giveaway is detailed in which three copies of TRAVERSE among other prizes were handed out to participants.

このオープニング後に始まる物語はフリーシナリオ制なので、どのイべントから始めてもOK。新感覚のRPGで自分だけの冒険を！！
